Volance is an explainable bot and agent detection product by Oops Games LLC. It tells you what is behind a request, shows the evidence, and leaves enforcement on your server.
What Volance is
Volance scores a session on how human it looks. It returns a 0–100 human-likeness score, a human, agent, or bot label, and the signals behind the verdict. Your server decides whether to allow, flag, or block. Verified agents can pay for access through HTTP 402 and x402, and Volance takes no cut of agent payments.
Who makes it
Volance is built and operated by Oops Games LLC. The product launched in 2026 and is developed as an independent, privacy-first alternative to CAPTCHA-style gates and opaque bot scores.
What we believe
- Explain the decision. A score without the evidence is just another black box.
- Agents are not bots. Legitimate automation should be identifiable and allowed by policy, not blocked by default.
- Enforcement stays with you. Volance does not proxy traffic and never holds agent payments.
- Collect only what the page needs. On-site signals only, no cross-site identifiers, hashed IPs, and raw scores purged after 30 days.
